On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13, Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur will be open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM serving brunch and dinner prix fixe menus. Each prix fixe will feature selections from the regular dinner menu as well as holiday specials. For brunch, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a $35.00 two-course prix fixe will include either a starter and entrée or an entrée and dessert; for $43.00 all three courses will be served. The brunch specials will be Gateau de Crabe, Dungeness crab cake, pickled fennel and cucumber salad, and remoulade; Eggs Rive Gauche, two poached eggs, crispy crab cakes, Béarnaise and brunch potatoes; Omelette Printanier, a three-egg omelet, asparagus, fava beans, English peas, Emmenthal cheese and brunch potatoes; Gaufre a la Fraise, a warm waffle, market strawberries and crème fraiche; Jarret d’Agneau á la Printanier, Corsican braised lamb shank, lemon, toasted coriander and fennel, roasted garlic, tomato and crispy polenta; and Strudel, a black truffle and mushroom strudel, English pea, asparagus and mint purée.
