Gourmet Express Lunch
The Gourmet Car has two seatings. Guests who are assigned to first seating dine on fresh soup or salad and their choice of entree in the dining car while traveling up the valley, and will be served dessert with complimentary coffee or tea in one of the lounge cars on the return trip. Those guests with a second seating assignment will be served appetizers and beverages in one of the lounge cars while heading North to St. Helena and will enjoy their fresh soup or salad, choice of entree and dessert in one of the dining cars on the return trip.

Our 1952 Pullman domed rail car provides our most private dining experience. Your meal begins with a complimentary glass of California sparkling wine and continues with a multiple course lunch of your choice.
Valley First Winery Tour
Upon arriving at Raymond's "Theater of Nature", your winery tour will begin with an introduction to Raymond's history and organic farming practices. Walk between the vine rows and learn what it means to grow biodynamic grapes. Then test yourself with a sensory evaluation designed to help you identify the flavors and aromas in wine. See the machinery and facilities involved in the crushing, fermentation, bottling and storage of wine as you explore Raymond's extensive production space. Finally, finish your tour with an opportunity to purchase some of Raymond's wines.
You will then transfer the Wine Train and enjoy the next two hours viewing the west side of the Valley and leisurely savoring a three-course gourmet lunch as you return to Napa by train.
Grgich Hills Winery Tour
With the Grgich Hills Winery Tour, you'll enjoy a gourmet three course lunch in an elegant dining car as you journey northbound from downtown Napa through the Napa Valley. In Rutherford you'll leave the train at Grgich Hills Estate for a one-hour private tour and tasting led by a wine educator that includes their Rutherford Vineyard and a behind-the-scenes look at the cellar before ending with a tasting. You may even meet Mike Grgich himself! You will re-board the train for the dessert course in the Wine Train's restored 1915 Pullman Lounge Car as you head back to the Napa Station.
