Mophono's 45th Birthday Party with The Gaslamp Killer, DJ Qbert, & more

Representing experimental DJ/hip hop culture and producer/beat digger culture in the bay area for over 25 years, Mophono is celebrating his 45th birthday with all DJ's playing all 45's (the little records).
Playing all 45's is a tradition started in 1999 here in the bay area by Cut Chemist + Mophono's friend and musical collaborator the legendary DJ Shadow.
Also on the lineup, The Gaslamp Killer represents several cross sections of cultural movements in our beloved community, like deep crates producer/beat digger and DJ culture but across the globe.
Together Mophono and The Gaslamp Killer started the legendary Change The Beat weekly party in San Francisco 16 years ago with Citizen Ten who will also be performing. It's a CTB reunion!
Like all Change The Beat parties there will be more info with DJ's & surprises TBA like promo only vinyl 7" AVAILABLE ONLY AT THE PARTY
Mophono will be showcasing two different performances that have never been done before! First, an entire DJ set with one of a kind Hand Cut 7" that only exist in his collection and second, a full 7" Skip On Beat performance...
Skip On Beat is a technology that Mophono invented in 2007 involving skipless records he creates and RPM - BPM technology that he will be demonstrating an entire musical performance with for the first time in history.
