SEE EVENT DETAILS
at American Buddhist Cultural Society (see times)
We are living in a technological world, where smartphone has became necessity to human being. We use our smartphone to take photos, schedule doctor appointment, shop clothes, meet new friends, find dates, share our expression, and etc. Many would say smartphone has make our life more convenient and happier.Or is it?Recent studies have discovered that Individuals with a longer average screen time were more likely to have poorer sleep quality and less sleep overall (CNN, Your smartphone may be hurting your sleep). Another study discovered that increasing numbers of under 30s are seeking medical help because they are spending up to 10 hours a day sitting down, often behind screens (The Telegraph, iPad generation sees huge rise in back and neck pain). So, Is smartphone making our life better or making us suffer?SFYAD invite all of you to join us in exploring the impact of smartphone. It is open to public.Prior to the event, a complimentary lunch will be held from 12:30pm – 1:30pm.Event is free but registration is required due to limited spaces.
