Monterey Peninsula College Great Books Program is proud to present an evening with bestselling author David Shields. His books include Reality Hunger, How Literature Saved My Life, and many others. For this lecture, David will discuss his experiments with the novel, a cornerstone of Western thought and culture, a monumental medium, a fixture in the firmament of how we interpret life. This event will take place in the Karas Room of the MPC Library . Admission is free but seating is limited. A book signing session will follow the presentation.
