Full Bio:

Max Magee, AKA Fritz Carlton, is a 23 year-old House & Bass music producer currently residing in the musically eclectic city of Los Angeles. Originally hailing from Seattle, Fritz is now deeply entrenched within the California electronic music scene in both live performance and his own music. His love affair with house first began in college when Fritz discovered artists such as Justin Martin, Scuba & Tom Demac. A worldly traveler, Fritz's productions draw influence from all over the globe; the bouncy booty-bass sounds of the Bay Area, deep drowning aesthetics of Berlin Techno, and the smooth musical lexicons of the city of Angels. This results in a style of music that generates calm, reflective, groovy, and undeniably self-assured feelings on the dance floor - with a generous dose of booty-shakage adding to the mischief and ambiguity. With releases & forthcoming music on This Ain't Bristol,
Desert Hearts & Perfect Driver, 2016 is shaping up to be quite the year for this cat.

Vitamindevo
“I create music to inspire movement. A beat will start in my head, and will drive me crazy until I sit down and take the time to bring it to existence. Through wires it goes, and is able to materialize thorough the speakers. But it is not until I get to watch people embody the music through dance that it feels like the cycle of a song has been completed. I want to create music that will take you to the stars and back while helping you both lose yourself and find yourself a in the rhythmic layers.” – Vitamindevo

Vitamindevo’s genre of choice is tech house, but he loves mixing it with spacey breaks, dub-tech, deep house, and acid elements. Music has always been his preferred form of therapy since he was young enough to hear and would spend hours banging on the drums in his parent’s basement studio jamming to the sounds of 60’s and 70’s rock. Thankfully he never lost his obsession with music. In college he was first introduced to the electronic music scene in Florida, then after moving to Brooklyn in 2004, he began to be influenced by the industrial synchronicity, depth and scale of New York.

“I WANT TO CREATE MUSIC THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE STARS AND BACK”

Vitamindevo has now been a part of the scene for over fourteen years, including ten spent DJing and producing, and he has no desire to slow down now! He has performed up and down the East and West Coasts, at clubs, warehouses, forests and deserts in NYC, SF, LA, Northern California, and Nevada as both Vitamindevo and his old duo 3l3tronic while part of Robot Heart the early years. He has collaborated with Truth Now, Bianca Dino, Nico Tower, Stillwell, etc. His newest side project Gydyr, is a bass-focused alter-ego, that he has performed as at Warfield opening for Knife Party, as well as being an Insomniac Discovery Project winner.

You don’t go to a Vitamindevo show to sit, you go to see the speakers explode with energy on a sweat-drenched dance floor where time seems to stand still. His shows are a multi-dimensional experience brought to life with him dancing with you while weaving layers of rich digital components. The only thing better than getting lost in his music is looking up and seeing him dancing right along with you.

As head of the new SF based Label Laser Native, he hopes to bring the west coast bass house sound to the masses.

“I ENVISION MYSELF AS THE CAPTAIN OF A MUSICAL SHIP AND MY COMPASS IS THE RHYTHM THAT I USE TO NAVIGATE THE HEART AND SOUL OF OUR SONIC LANGUAGES.”

– Vitamindevo

Lt. Daaan
Feeding off smiles, subtle exchanges of knowing satisfaction, and expressions of ecstatic surprise, Lt. Daaan lives to engage with his audience and environment. This DJ thrives off the challenge of performing in a diverse array of settings wherein listener expectations continuously evolve. With an arsenal of beats that range from hypnotic house to rolling techno, dirty ghetto tech to bubbly minimal, deep and dark to golden light, Lt. Daaan is poised to take the decks any time, any place.

Due to his seamless versatility and intelligent sensitivity to time and space, Lt. Daaan has quickly infiltrated the San Francisco underground and Burning Man music scene, playing alongside some of the city's most talented DJs in some of the city's dopest venues. His fast ascension is no doubt due to the fact that when Lt. Daaan hits the decks, booties hit the floor.
