The Mission Community Market, at 22nd and Bartlett Streets, from 3pm - 7pm, and enhanced safety measures, including handwashing stations, full-service stalls, and other modifications during shelter-in-place.
Farmers markets are open as an essential service during shelter-in-place to provide critical access for our community. Due to restrictions around essential business, there will be no live music, kids' activities, or craft vendors. Please help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by shopping safely and quickly and following farmers market safety guidelines, including social distancing and wearing a face covering at all times.
Founded in 2010, Mission Community Market is an open-air marketplace made up of farmers, small local businesses, and community programs, promoting family health for the Mission District.
More than 140 family farms and small food businesses depend on CUESA's farmers markets for their livelihoods, and thousands of individuals depend on them for fresh food. As global food supply chains strain, resilient local food systems are all the more vital to community food security, now and in the long term. Farmers markets offer a safe alternative to grocery stores, with a spacious, open-air setting that provides ample room for social distancing, and shorter supply chains from field to market.
