The worlds of programming, robotics, and Minecraft collide in ComputerCraft!
ComputerCraft is a package of extra content for Minecraft that includes computers, robotic “turtle†blocks, wired and wireless networking, monitors, and more. At the ComputerCraft Camp, students will create powerful programs to work on both interesting computer science projects and useful Minecraft applications such as auto-miners, password-protected door systems, bridge-building robots, and even “3D printerâ€-style house constructors! Students’ code is written in a real-world programming language called Lua, so the skills built in this camp can be directly applied to similar languages like Java and Python.
Time: June 4th and 11th, 1-4pm
