Mindfulness Meditation Daylong
This daylong is FREE for students in the 8-week course.
Saturday February 23rd 10am-4pm

Foster Compassion
With the support of community we will drop into silence and into our bodies. Guided practices will include:
Awareness of the Breath
Sitting Meditation
Loving Kindness Meditation
Body Scanning as developed by Jon Kabat -Zinn
Mindful Movement (Qigong & Gentle Stretching)
Eating Meditation à la Thich Nhat Hanh
Walking Meditation
Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing (yoga pants or sweat pants are great).
Also bring:
water bottle
note book and pen (journal)
yoga mat (or something comparable)
wrap or blanket
layers!
warm socks
maybe a hat
lunch (that you will enjoy engaging with deeply)
