We’re bringing together an incredible group to gain a deeper understanding of our relationship to food while practicing self-love and intuitive eating.
Find yourself overthinking if eating a treat is ‘worth it’ or canceling on dinner with friends because you feel like you already ‘ate too much’ today? Working out like crazy to ‘make up for what you ate last night’ or diving into snacks and coming up for air with feeling guilty realizing you’ve eaten far more than you intended? Well, you’re not alone.
Join us at Anchor Meditation for a meditation session focused on increasing awareness and self-compassion, followed by an incredible, nourishing family meal by at Little Gem on Union.
We’ll discuss loving ourselves and our bodies, and use meditation as a tool to increase our awareness of how and why we engage with food. Whether you had, have, or know someone that struggles with a challenging relationship with food or body image, join us to learn ways to heal your relationship with food and transform the way you think about your body -- so that eating becomes a truly joyful experience in which you can savor every bite.
The event will start at the beautiful Anchor Meditation in Cow Hollow, followed by a delicious family-style meal at the newly opened Little Gem on Union, just steps away. You’ll leave feeling calm, connected, and nourished!
Co-hosted by Molly Alliman and Nicole Modic.
Molly is a Certified Holistic Health Coach who specializes in working with clients to heal their relationships with food and find their own definition of food freedom. Molly provides coaching to clients who are recovering/recovered from an eating disorder and looking for nutritional guidance to achieve overall health. She uses her knowledge and passion to educate her clients on how eating whole foods can lead to a better relationship with food, health, and self.
Nicole is a Certified Functional Nutrition Health Coach and wellness obsessed mama of two young boys, on a mission to share her passion for a healthy lifestyle with others. But she wasn’t always healthy. From an early age, Nicole had a love-hate relationship with her body, and measured her self-worth based on physical appearance alone. All of this led to a long battle with compulsive eating and bulimia, that lasted through her teenage years, law school, and even in her earlier career as a lawyer. Nicole is living proof that true healing from food issues is possible.
