Mill Valley's Depot Plaza will be filled with live music, children playing and community camaraderie when the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the City of Mill Valley, rings in the holiday season with their annual Winterfest celebration.
In years past, we've held our festive holiday celebration on the downtown plaza - and we're doing that again on Dec. 3rd, 5-6pm with some performances, a Tree Lighting and remarks from Mayor Urban Carmel.
In the interests of spreading more joy than ever - and with the grateful support of our partners at Mill Valley Recreations' Mill Valley Community Center, we're expanding the event across two dates.
Santa's planning to be on the Plaza within the 5-6pm hour, saying hello to children and families.
Two weeks later, on Sunday, Dec. 17th from 12-4pm at the Community Center, we'll have another lineup of great performances - including the one and only Millbillies - and a bunch of great children's games and activities like the huge slide, a jumpy house, cornhole and an array of additional activities.
The afternoon of Dec. 3rd will be filled with activities and the opportunity to eat, drink and shop at venues all over downtown - come ready to support your favorite shops and eateries and enjoy the festivities of the holiday season.
