ABOUT OUR HEADLINER: In this era of geo-comedic turmoil and uncertainty, we're all faced with some tough decisions. Decisions that divide us as a nation, and as a people. What kind of comedic values do we want to pass on to future generations? Jokes about race, religion, culture, and even yo mama, have long been a vital part of the fabric of our communal sense of humor. As a result of many decidedly unfunny outside circumstances, however, these sacred truths are now being threatened in a way they never have before.
Dignity. Integrity. Respect. Like you, Jacob Sirof and Kaseem Bentley believe that these ideas have no place in comedy. Only comedy belongs in comedy.
Jacob and Kaseem understand the issues better than anybody because they've been in the trenches, fighting for what they believe in their entire "careers." They've always been outsiders who have refused to adhere to the oppressive rules of the establishment. Which is exactly what they tell members of their families who want to know why they're not on television. Oh and also one's a Jew and one's a black, so they can totally pull the race card if anybody disagrees with anything they say. Unless maybe it's a chick. But whatever.
in 2020, will you choose comedians who cannot do their jobs effectively because they are too worried about offending the growing horde of overly sensitive losers who want to take away your God-given right to be funny? (There's no God; it's just an expression.) Or is creating a more humorous world for our kids, and for their kids after them, something that's important to you? Do you envision a world in which the comedic liberties of all citizens are secure and inalienable? If so, then choose the only ticket this year that's not on anybody's side. Cuz sides are dumb. Hella dumb. Like, zika baby dumb. Choose funny. Choose Sirof and Bentley.
