The event is an opportunity to meet others who are dealing with migraine or cluster headache disease, visit sponsor booths and take part in other engaging activities for the morning, Volunteers receive a free shirt. Kids and adults will all learn new information about migraine in a fun scavenger hunt. Everyone receives prizes.
Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. households includes someone with migraine, yet migraine is overlooked (and undertreated: there are only 500 certified headache specialists for 39 million sufferers). In addition to the debilitating pain, migraine also carries severe burden of discrimination, negatively impacting communities around the country.
Miles for Migraine, a nonprofit organization, has set out to change this stigma by raising public awareness and money for migraine research from the ground up. Visit
