Mike Steelman Photographers, located at 480 Calle Principal in Monterey, has more than 15 years of photography experience and their studio has been in downtown Monterey for over 7 years. Owners Mike and Gina Steelman will personally be leading a class called "So, do you know how to use that thing?" - A photography 101 basics class. This class is designed around the basics for the average person who has a camera and wants to gain a more solid understanding of the basics.
Enjoy nibbles and drinks while you learn from an expert the basics of photography in a fast paced, energetic hands-on class. Attendees should have a camera and a great attitude of learning. Mike and Gina Steelman will teach you a crash course in photography, providing a quick and easy foundation to learn more. Please bring a camera, notebook and a pen to take notes.

A Photography 101 Basics Class designed to help you get the most out of your camera. Are you ready to learn some basics to get the most out of your camera? Are you tired of missing that shot? Don't know why your images are blurry? Do you love photography?
Come learn from established professional photographers Mike & Gina Steelman all about the guts of photography in a photo 101 crash course. You'll learn the nit 'n gritty basics of photography in a 2 hour, hands-on, instructional and fun class that will help you walk away with a basic understanding of why your pictures look the way they do. Bring your cameras!
