Midweek Mindfulness Practice - Being Present Now

                                                   Being Present Now

Join us for a calming, mid-week mindfulness practice. Experienced or new to mindfulness practice- everyone's welcome! 

We'll jump into exercises focusing on being present to various experiences in our body and environment around us.  
Interactive group exercises, mindful walking or maybe even mindful eating (not a whole meal of course) , are a few other things we may also try.

Regular mindfulness practice is known to help people overcome stress and worries, anxiety, chronic pain, and many other benefits.
Mindfulness also allows us to be aware of our judgemental thoughts towards ourselves and others, and in the process allows for more self-compassion, and of course compassion for others.
Come by and get grounded in your body, to help the rest of your week go more smoothly.

Where:  San Francisco Public Library Noe Valley Branch
In Program Room (bottom floor next to stairs)

Facilitated by Vanessa Wray- BS Public Health, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and lifelong student/practitioner of meditation and mind-body health.
