On Saturday, February 22nd, one of San Francisco's favorite watering holes, Mersea, will be hosting the first-ever U.S. debut of Singled Out, an acclaimed documentary about the journey of single women in today's world, in which co-founder of Mersea herself, MeeSun Boice, served as an executive director on the film.
The documentary film, co-directed by best friends, Mariona Guiu and Ariadna Relea, tells the story of five single, educated women in different corners of the world - Sydney, Melbourne, Barcelona, Shanghai + Turkey - where pairing up is the norm. Together, and with well-known experts in sociology, law and demography, the film unveils the challenges of single women around the world in the era of choice.
The documentary will debut at Mersea on Saturday, February 22nd at 6:30pm on Mersea's massive outdoor lawn. Guests can enjoy the film while soaking up the best views of San Francisco and dining on Chef Parke Ulrich's delicious fare.
