Meritus College Fund’s 2016 Making College Count Celebration will recognize the contributions of the Meritus community, which since 1996 has helped us to provide $9.4 million in scholarship assistance, college success advising, and career development resources to more than 700 motivated and ambitious local young people. In honor of our 20th anniversary, we invite you to join our supporters, Scholars, and alumni for a night affirming our shared belief in the transformative power of higher education.

OUR HONOREE
Jason Mayden grew up on the South Side of Chicago. His experiences there sparked a desire to pursue higher education and become an advocate for equity in education. As a designer, lecturer and artist, Mr. Mayden has had a successful career as the Senior Global Design Director for Nike’s Jordan Brand and is currently Designer-in-Residence at Accel Partners. He holds a graduate degree from Stanford’s School of Business.
