Menstrual Wellness with Stevie Ann DePaola

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Menstruation is a beautiful and natural process! Too many of us are taught, however, that pain and discomfort associated with our cycle is an unavoidable fact of life. The truth is that not only is it possible to bring harmony to our cycles, doing so can make lasting improvements to our overall health and well being.
This workshop can help bring a deeper understanding of how to nourish yourself throughout your cycle, particularly if you experience symptoms like headaches, cramping, irritability, sleep disruption, nausea, digestive disruptions, and breast tenderness.
Learn how to get in synch with your menstrual cycle and support your flow with self-massage, Chinese and western herbs, supplements, diet, and moon wisdom!
Walk away from this workshop with:

An in-depth understanding of the hormonal phases of your cycle
A Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective on how to re-balance your organ system, remove blockages, restore strength and harmony to the delicate relationship between your body, mind and spirit.
An understanding of how self-massage of certain Meridian lines and acupressure points can stimulate vitality and ease pain
An understanding of what your menstruation tell you about the health of your internal organs
