The San Francisco Tour Guide Guild is happy to invite non-member guests to our first event of the new year. There is no cost, but youi MUST register for the event. Seating is limited and non registered guests are likely to not be admitted.
Come hear presentations by two of the Guild’s celebrity members John Martini and Emperor Norton (Joseph Amster) Both are renowned historians who will share information and answer questions posed by you.
John will speak on the Sutro Baths and Heights with many referenced to material in his book: Sutro’s Glass Palace. Emperor Norton will enlighten you with tales and details about life in San Francisco, both before and after he became Emperor Norton I of the United States and protector of Mexico.
Join us in the Latino and Hispanic room on the lower level of the San Francisco Main Library at 5:30 pm on January 9. We expect this to be a sold out event so book your free ticket soon.
