Celebrate World Ranger Day and Meet the Rangers! Interact with local agencies that employ rangers, plus partner associations, trusts, and conservancies that use volunteers. Win a raffled ranger-led hike!
Rangers will demonstrate equipment they use. Vehicles, boats, and hi-tech gear will be showcased. Hands-on activities for the kids.
In conjunction with 'Meet the Rangers', we are presenting the premiere of THE THIN GREEN LINE - a film by an Australian Park Ranger. Witness the dedication of the professional Park Rangers who make up the Thin Green Line through their stories of danger, compassion, and protection. Film shown at the Visitor's Center at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6:00pm.
