Meet Taj McCoy: Author of Savvy Sheldon Feels Good As Hell

SEE EVENT DETAILS
In person Author talk and reading followed by Q&A

Born and raised in Oakland, Taj McCoy is an author and law school grad committed to writing stories championing Black and multiracial women of color, plus-sized protagonists, Black love, and characters with a strong sense of sisterhood and familial bonds. Her debut romcom SAVVY SHELDON FEELS GOOD AS HELL arrives this month.

Savvy is dumped for her work ethic and her weight, spurring plans for a revenge body to make her ex regret his poor decision. Nothing can prepare her for a whirlwind romance with the contractor hired to renovate her kitchen, as she realizes her ex's regrets are none of her concern. Savvy regains her confidence, owning her own curves, and lets go of her ex for good.

"Savvy Sheldon Feels Good as Hell is an enchanting love letter to the power of self-care. McCoy's sparkling debut is a warm, witty, relationship-powered story that will leave you grinning and rooting for the characters. It is a perfect blend of mouthwatering food and soul-nourishing resilience." --Denise Williams, bestselling author of How to Fail at Flirting
