Peter M. Small is a historical impressionist who does costumed presentations of famous historical figures. He will present a riveting portrayal of Golda Meir, Israel's Prime Minister from 1969 to 1974.
Peter understands and feels suited to play this role after living in Israel for six years, where he was a reservist in the Israeli Defense Forces. Upon returning to the United States, Peter developed his historical impersonation program while teaching history in the greater Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles areas. His costumed performances made his lessons memorable and enjoyable for his students. Some roles in his repertoire include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, Harry Truman, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Theodore Roosevelt.
Peter has performed nationally for a variety of audiences including the presidential libraries of Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Herbert Hoover and George H. W. Bush, as well as at the Hoover Dam. He was the presenter at Knott's Berry Farm's Thomas Edison Workshop for ten years. Peter has made numerous television appearances including on the History Channel, KTTV-TV and KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. He is currently an adjunct instructor for the North Orange County Community College District's School of Continuing Education. Visit Peter's website at
