THE VEDIC APPROACH MEDITATION WITH JAMES & YVETTE BROWN

Learn a simple technique to easily get back in the flow of the present moment, especially when you feel like you're losing your center.


Learn a tactical breathing exercise (called the OMFG technique)  to quickly calm your nervous system without yelling at yourself (or someone else) to calm down.


Learn about a radically different approach to meditation in which you  sit comfortably and allow your mind to settle, without concentrating and focusing. (Yes, even your mind.) A practice that was meant for "householders," meaning people who live in the real world, with noise, jobs, relationships and kids. People who don't have all day to meditate. In other words, a practice that's not for monks...it's for you!


Learn some practical tips and tricks for making meditation a habit you can actually stick with, and the real-life benefits the flow from doing so: better sleep, more energy and clarity, greater intimacy, more joy, and an increased ability to let go of the small stuff and be more present for the people and things that really matter.


ABOUT YOUR TEACHERS

James & Yvette Brown learned to meditate together 10 years ago, about a year after adopting their first son, an event that turned their lives, and their relationship, upside down. The practice was easy to learn and simple to do. So they did it, everyday. And that made all the difference. After leaving his career as an advertising creative director, James now teaches meditation full time, while Yvette is an artist. They have two VERY energetic boys, 6 and 11, a crazy dog and live in The Presidio of San Francisco.
