Me, You & Bamboo: Using Shibari for Bamboo Body Ties presented by Blue of Vox Body

Blue is back at Kink.com for a fun new class on bondage ties to attach bamboo to the body!
Utilizing bamboo for floor ties adds a heightened sense of restraint and immobility to the bondage. We will use Shibari elements and approach to use the bamboo like a spreader bar, and also explore a more free-form, creative tie.
This class is all levels; some experience with rope is preferred, especially column ties and hitches.
Blue will be covering some of the basics, including column ties and hitches, in her afternoon workshop "Simple, Sexy, Shibari", 2-4pm.

Please read:
*If you have your own rope, bring it! You'll need 3-5 lengths of 6mm rope. Lengths at 8m and 4m are best. Jute or hemp preferred, but bring what you have! There will be loaner rope available for the class, and for sale before & after the class as well.
*There will be several pieces of bamboo for use during class; if you have your own bamboo, rods, or something similar to it that you'd like to try tying with, please bring them!
*Signing up solo is totally fine; please come open-minded to potentially work with anyone who may also have signed up solo, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Attendees also have the option to tie themselves if they so choose, though there will be some parts that cannot be self-tied. You can observe and take notes on those for later!
*Some folks have written in asking where they can purchase their own bamboo- any nursery should have bamboo poles. People would want them about 1.5" across and anywhere from 4-6' long. They will crack (with temperature fluctuations) so get more than you need! If your local nursery doesn't have them, there is Bamboo Depot in Benecia; let them know that you want to look at the thin 1.5" bamboo and they will show you the pallet to look thru. Watch for cracks! They will cut them down to size there.
