With bounty in bloom and 2013 Rosebud Rosé in bottles, McEvoy Ranch invites guests to toast to the season and enjoy the first pours of McEvoy Ranch’s 2013 Rosebud Rosé and upcoming 2014 Limited Edition olive oil on Saturday, May 24 from Noon to 4 p.m.
As part of McEvoy Ranch’s “Wine + Boots” spring celebration taking place over Memorial Day weekend, guests are encouraged to embrace the ranch’s casual country spirit, enjoying delicious local bites featuring Thistle Meats and Toluma Farms, live music from members of the traditional bluegrass band The Faultliners, bocce ball, raffle prizes, and bonus points for dusting off their boots!
Food-friendly and perfect for any celebration, the second vintage of McEvoy Ranch’s Rosebud Rosé, and the most recent of McEvoy Ranch’s estate-produced wines made from certified organically grown grapes, is a dry, crisp rosé of primarily Pinot noir, blended with Syrah, Grenache, Montepulciano and Refosco for complexity. Retailing for $20, guests will be able to purchase the 2013 Rosebud Rosé during the event, or in McEvoy Ranch’s San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace shop, online at
https://www.McEvoyRanch.com, or by the glass and bottle at select restaurants throughout the Bay Area.
Also new this spring, McEvoy Ranch’s on-site tasting room now offers guests a rare opportunity to view the 550-acre ranch, which is a private residence, and to taste the latest vintages of estate-produced wine and award-winning, Tuscan-style olive oil, including the 2014 Limited Edition, a special blend of the olive varietals and available each spring. Offered in the spring and fall, tastings are by appointment only on Fridays and Saturdays, with advance reservation required. McEvoy Ranch Wine Club members enjoy special pricing.
