Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) and Edwin M. Lee Asian Pacific Democratic Club invites you to a trailer screening event of the Mayor Ed Lee Documentary on Aug 23!
Come watch the trailer. Meet the director. Ticket includes lite refreshments and admission to museum’s exhibition ‘Chinese American: Exclusion/Inclusion.’ All proceeds will go to Chinese Historical Society of America to help finish funding the film.
In December 2017, the city of San Francisco lost its beloved mayor, Ed Lee, unexpectedly and far too soon. The Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) will present the inspirational story of this remarkable man. The film will chronicle, document, and preserve the memory of Ed Lee for future generations the life and character of the seemingly ordinary man who grew up in Seattle’s public housing and became the first Chinese American mayor of a major city.
