Maruya offers an authentic Japanese dining experience hidden in San Francisco's Mission District. There are three different omakase to choose from: Chef's Omakase, Sushi Omakase and Otsukuri Omakase. Each omakase is also presented with zensai (three small dishes); these dishes change almost daily depending on the availability of various ingredients. Maruya's main focus is to offer a myriad of fish which are carefully curated in order to prepare the best nigiri and sashimi. Most of our fish are imported from Tsukiji Market, Japan. Maruya's executive chef, Tonai, who has over thirty-five years of experience as a sushi chef presents sushi kaiseki - a collection of skills and techniques.
