Arts

It started with taking photos for leisure and sanity. Documenting moments of my life with friends and family. Enthusiasm turned to passion and passion led to a discovery of what truly makes me happy.

I stand out among the photographers in the Bay Area and I get picked by my clients because of quality, quantity and a price range that spells out V-A-L-U-E. That and I'm hell of fun to work with. I can make you comfortable even if you're the most conscious person in front of the camera. Make you work it without looking like you're even trying. How do I do it? By being myself. And ridiculously focused on making you look the best on your photos and making your event a tighter set than the last.  And isn't that what you want? When we're on the same page, we make the shoot an enjoyable experience and when you're having fun, that's when you look your best.

Back to value. Let's say for example, for less than $1.5K, you can get a full day's coverage, complete post processing, rights to your photos (duh), 4 DVDs (original, edited in color AND edited in black & white and your photo storybook slideshow), an online gallery and photo account, a 5 x 7 photo book (magazine-style and easy to carry around), a photo storybook slideshow on YouTube (to share with friends and family) and photos on our Facebook fan page where you'll have the opportunity to tag up the photos, that way your guests can laugh and enjoy the memories the night created. All this?! Seriously?, you may ask. Yes, seriously.

My point of view is this. If I was the bride, or the birthday celebrant, or the excited recently engaged or the proud mom of a graduate looking for a photographer to capture our special day, being good is, well, not good enough. I would like someone extraordinary who is willing to work with me with what I am willing to spend.

I still get super excited with every new event I'm working on. I get pumped up brainstorming with couples on how we can make their day super awesome. I treat you not as a business connection but as a friend. I am always thankful for you allowing me, someone you have never met before, to be a part of your special day. And not just a guest. To be there to document an event you and your family will look back to in the years to come.

So I tailor my packages to make it extra special and all-inclusive. Check them out, compare them with what the other photographer you were planning on calling has to offer and you will find that there is nothing like it out there. If, in the rare event that there is, I would bet my ass it would cost at least three times more expensive than what I offer. And just between you and me, that is plain bull crap. Sure, talent has a price. But $10,000 for a day's coverage? Kiss. My. Ass. You can get an excellent photographer, a videographer, a day of coordinator and a make-up artist for that amount. Shoot, you can buy yourself (and the rest of your family) eightfucking Macbooks for that price.

Amen.

It is not just about being unique. It is about being the best in this market because the best makes her clients happy and would not be happy herself by settling for less. Don't you agree?

It all boils down to this. I lovelovelove what I do! From my first contact with you, brainstorming for new ideas, preparing my gear the night before, posing my subjects, finding the 'in-between' moments, seeing the look on the groom's face as he sees his bride for the first time, the interesting conversations I have with you, your friends and family, the atmosphere of happy celebration, updating my website and portfolio, making props, editing, laying out photo books, receiving beautiful testimonials (I swear to this day this makes me so emotional) to personally writing thank you cards.

I feel blessed to be able to make a living out of what I'm passionate about and it's just natural to pass on that gift to you.
