Marcel Pagnol's Cesar

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Southside Theater (see times)
"You are what, in medical terms, we call a pain in the ass, César. That is your disease, and, yes, it is chronic. Deep down, you’re a good man, a sensitive man, but with your family and friends, you’re unbearable. You live here on your own, because no one would live with you. You’ve scared away your bar tenders, you’ve scared away your dishwashers, you’ve scared away your customers, you’ve even scared away your own son!"

After MARIUS and FANNY, CÉSAR is the conclusion of Marcel Pagnol's Marseille Trilogy -- the resolution of the love story between Marius and Fanny, for which César is the central (yet controversial) ring master.

CÉSAR, by Marcel Pagnol. Translated and directed by R. David Valayre. With Greg Armstrong, Tom Bacchetti, Alan Badger, Abhishek Das, Kenneth Matis, Marika Kuzma, Antoine Peiffer, Maria Francizka Schroeder, Karen Sellinger, R. David Valayre, and Ket Watters. Set: Charles Keen. Lights: Katrina van Winkle. Sound: Jonathan Loo. Production Consultant,Costume Design & Makeup: Vishalini Mona Vimal.

For all ages.
