This Halloween we get down to the sounds of Life On Planets, The Whooligan, and King Most.
As always, we'll have 2 floors of sound! In the lounge is DJ M3, MPHD, and Nat Turner.
Life On Planets
Life On Planets is the solo project of singer/guitarist Phill Celeste. Melding soul, R&B, and house in his original productions; the artist's eclectic sound took him from the streets of Baltimore to cities the world over. Join Phill as he weaves live performance with electronics to spread messages of truth, love and consciousness across dance floors.
The Whooligan
Julio G is a music lover, world traveler, community organizer and entrepreneur. He has over 15 years of performance experience as an internationally-recognized DJ & artist known by his stage name, The Whooligan. Julio's commitment to social impact is what motivated him to launch music-based humanitarian organization, Room Service International - using music to connect cultures and activate change, Team RSI has expanded their mission to live a life of service in underserved regions all over the world. The Whooligan's relentless work ethic, insatiable curiosity for travel and undeniable love of bringing people together has fostered a community in celebration of underground dance music, diversity and inclusion.
DJ M3
Dj M3 has staked his everlasting claim in the Bay Area music community in 1990 as a key promoter and DJ, roles for which he took on the abbreviated appellation of M3, short for "Makes Me Move". Begun as a fluid, down-tempo approach, M3 eventually evolved his sound to the expression of Deep House , Disco and Tech House chuggers he is known for today. Manny quickly developed his own legendary party brand Green Gorilla Lounge underground, and clubs night parties along Anthony Mansfield. He started to sharing the decks with industry icons with bookings across the globe, He also started Disco Knights at Burning Man. Thus further developed Manny's acumen for rhythm and cultural finesse, priming him for several collaborations with Phil 'Rene' Collis of Bachelor's of Science and setting the stage for their alliance as the stealthy duo Sleight of Hands. Having seen releases through his own label Green Gorilla Lounge, as well as Smoke 'N' Mirrors, Om, Sirenum, and Chillin' Records. M3 has notably performed at the San Francisco Treasure Island Music Festival 2014, Outsidelands 2013, and Coachella 2013 as Sleight of Hands. And Coachella as Dj M3 2012.
MPHD
Bradley Exum, better known as the producer and DJ they call MPHD, is creating a buzz that cannot be contained. Characterized by his efforts to achieve what can appropriately be described as Gastrobass, MPHD's sound naturally takes on a life of its own. With MPHD, hearing is believing. Until you've seen one of his DJ sets, listened to one of his meticulously crafted productions, or been possessed into a dance frenzy by one of his remixes, you haven't seen his power in the the musical underground. Living in San Francisco, he's working to share his sound with everyone around him, and ensuring that it won't soon be forgotten. With more productions to come, and more dancefloors to take over, MPHD's proving to be one to watch out for.
