Meet the Speaker:
Ben Lake, CFA®, CFP® is an Investment Strategist and Co-Portfolio Manager of Multi-Asset Strategies at Lake Partners. Ben is the co-portfolio manager of the firm’s multi-asset growth, income, and alternative portfolios utilizing mutual funds and ETFs. Ben has a leadership role in investment research and private client services for the firm.
Prior to joining Lake Partners in 2012, Ben was an Associate at Casey Quirk & Associates LLC, a management consulting firm focused on the investment industry, where he was involved in analyzing business trends, financial modeling, and due diligence. Previously, Ben was an Analyst with the macro team at Pacific Epoch, an investment research firm in Shanghai, China, where he produced reports on China's monetary policies, economic trends, and various business sectors, including automobiles, steel, dry bulk shipping, and quick service restaurants.
Ben graduated from Northwestern University in 2009, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Asian and Middle Eastern Language and Civilization with a concentration in China and a minor in Economics. Ben is fluent in Mandarin. He is a CFA® charterholder and is an active member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
