FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the garden?
There is available street parking, though be advised it can be challenging on weekends. Many buses and trains stop nearby, making public transportation a great option! The 44 O'Shaughnessy, 6 Parnassus, N Judah and other lines all stop nearby.
What should I bring to the workshop?
Classes are held outside in our teaching garden. We recommend bringing a hat & sunscreen, comfortable closed toed shoes and lots of layers. You may want to bring a notebook to take notes on what you are learning and we recommend bringing a full water bottle as well.
Do you cancel classes due to rain?
We try our best not to cancel classes, but if the weather report suggests it is very likely it will be pouring rain during the class time, we will cancel the class that morning. We do hold classes in drizzling weather, and recommend students dress appropriately.
Happy gardening!
