October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Once again, the Mercantile is partnering with Zero Breast Cancer of Marin and will donate a portion of the month’s proceeds to them. The October 17 event includes a talk and book signing by Woody Weingarten, author of “Roller Coaster: How a Man Can Survive His Partner’s Breast Cancer”; complimentary Luzern mini-facials; a Kathy Kamei Designs Trunk Show; and a Cooking School display and gifts.
