MakeArt Course: 6 Week Hat Knit-Along with Hannah Milstein

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Saturdays from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, February 1 to March 8, 2025.

The Museum of Craft and Design invites you to join the beginner-friendly 6-week Hat Knitting MakeArt Course led by Hannah Milstein, a multimedia artist, former teacher, and knitting wizz. Classes will be held Saturdays from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, February 1 to March 8, 2025.

This creative community of practice is the perfect place to learn the craft, decode patterns, and detangle any problems along the way. The knit-along will break down a beanie pattern that Hannah creates exclusively for this course. Each week, we'll share our progress and tackle the next step of the pattern together.

Pre-registration is required and only 10 spots are available. Cost: $275 MCD Members, $325 General Admission, $300 Students and Seniors. Registration costs for participants bringing their own knitting needles and wool will be decreased by $40 across price categories.

Class registration includes:

- Optional Beginner knitting kit: Yarn * 13 sizes of circular knitting needles.
- Virtual Access to Missed Classes
- Five free guest passes to MCD
- Snacks and refreshments while in class
- Two complimentary admissions to Fiber Fest on 3/15/24

Please note: This MakeArt Course requires and is limited to 10 participants. Pre-registrants will be contacted by January 15th, and payment will be collected once registration is confirmed. Pattern needle size and yarn weight requirements will also be confirmed by January 15th for anyone bringing their own materials.

If you want to learn but are intimidated by the process, this class is for you, or give the gift of creativity to someone special on your list. Pre-Register Today!

$275-$325.
