Machine & Human Recruiting: A Happy Hour Networking Event

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Thanks for clicking the link! Are you a recruiter? SUPER RECRUITERS UNITE!

Welcome
We'd like you to join us for an inclusive event on Thursday, February 1st from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm PT in San Francisco @Campsyte (super cool coworking space) where we will gather 'roundtable style' and create space for recruiters to share about recruiting!
Job searchers receive frequent networking events and other support based opportunities where recruiters are the bread and butter, personally, however, we'd like to see more events that support those same recruiters. Join us for an evening of kombucha, wine and snacks!
We will be an intimate small group, with a discussion around Machine Learning, Diversity + Inclusion, started and finished with some good old fashion networking.
The goal is to create a community, leave you energized, and share the resources we all are already using to benefit the greater good of recruiters.

Who are we:
These organizers will be storytellers and lead a discussion with the experts (you) on recruiting trends, best practices, and explain how we leverage modern technology and emotional intelligence to achieve our goals.

Sandeep Purwar:
With a background in SAS programming and an MS in Management Informations Systems [Data Mining] from Oklahoma State, Sandeep uses his technical skillset to support his deep interest in the effect of data on simple decision-making. It is this collective, along with years of experience in the staffing industry and technical consulting that has lead to BEVOV. Sandeep believes in constantly learning and improving in all aspects, which makes him the curious tech innovator that he is today.
Pasttimes: Training for triathlons and the Tough Mudder. EDM and Burning Man. Discovering new culinary recipes. Forms of relaxation and centering, such as yoga, long drives, and talks about technology and spirituality.

Kyle Edquist:
Having worked in the Mental Health field for over 8 years wearing multiple forms of the "counselor" hat, Kyle is fueled by human connection. Having left the direct service field Kyle has led company culture initiatives such as the Walk + Talk program all the while recruiting for places like Singularity University. Kyle believes in 'human recruiting' and does so from the base of Diversity and Inclusivity. He has presented to staffing agencies about the philosophy of "100+ most interesting things about a candidate." His goal with the Human Recruiting section is to ask some questions, get some answers, and leave you empowered to alter humanity through your daily life.
Pasttimes: Lightning in a Bottle, cooking the kitchen sink and then some. 2018 brings solo camping trips, singing lessons, acro yoga and more public speaking (I really like to empower people).

Agenda
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Happy Hour (Kombucha, snacks, humans)
6:30 - 7:05 PM: Sandeep Purwar+ Machine Recruiting
7:05 - 7:20 PM: Poddy Break (if needed)
7:20 - 8:00 PM: Kyle Edquist + Human Recruiting
8:00 - 8:30 PM: Final Connection Creating
