Award-winning Mac Barnett, who was just announced today as the new National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, and Newbery Medal winning illustrator and author Shawn Harris, will be hosting an event at 849 Valencia Street (McSweeney's and Int'l Youth Library HQ) on Saturday, February 22 at 11 AM titled "THE FIRST CAT IN SPACE LIVE!" featuring an immersive experience and 360-degree theatrical experience celebrating the New York Times bestselling First Cat in Space series, featuring song, dance, and funny voices.
