Lunch and Learn by Security Colony

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join our Lunch and Learn with free lunch and Security Colony!
Security Colony is like having a cybersecurity team in your back pocket.  Security Colony helps mid-market companies get and stay secure with a library of cybersecurity resources written by the world's leading experts.  Our platform takes millions of dollars of cybersecurity investment across the market and makes it available to companies to help them save tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, and weeks or months of effort.
One of the hottest topics in cyber security right now is “supply chain risk management”.  What that means in practice is that if an enterprise client is going to give you (a) sensitive access; or (b) sensitive data; or (c) any control/influence over their brand; they are going to make you jump through hoops to demonstrate that you are secure, trustworthy, and won’t threaten their business.  This is a barrier to working with enterprise clients and will either slow down or completely kill off projects before your eyes.  But if you handle it well, it’s a differentiator and lets you leapfrog your competition.
What we will cover in this L&L session:
Being able to demonstrate you are trustworthy, which is largely about your security processes, is non-negotiable with big companies.  If you want to sell to enterprise, you will get questionnaires, you will get requests for security frameworks, you will get asked for penetration test reports, you will get asked for SOC 2, ISO27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA compliance and more.  There are good ways to respond to this, and bad ways to respond to this.  I’ll help you understand which is which and give you a painless solution.
