You are cordially invited to a special viewing party of the annual Chinese New Year Parade on Saturday, February 23rd 5-8pm on the Dr. Rolland and Kathryn Lowe Community Bridge (Portsmouth Square Bridge) in the heart of Chinatown. Celebrate and usher in the Year of the Boar with tasty bites, refreshments, entertainment, and exclusive access to the premier viewing location for the famous San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade.
See the parade from a unique vantage point! The bridge offers the best possible view—directly above the parade route, all while avoiding the crowded streets below! (The Dr. Rolland and Kathryn Lowe Community Bridge connects Portsmouth Square and the Chinese Culture Center.) Join us for an unforgettable evening with the largest Lunar New Year Parade outside of Asia! Don't forget to dress warmly in layers as San Francisco in February can be chilly.
The Lunar New Year VIP Viewing Party will have a special performance by Xumin Liu, a master of the Sichuanese martial artform gongfu cha. Local band Reverse DNA will also be playing music for guests in the foyer!
