San Francisco Zoo & Gardens presents its annual Lunar New Year event, celebrating the Year of the Pig. Guests can meet engaging kunekune pigs in the Children's Zoo and see exotic Chacoan peccaries at their exhibit. Special traditional lion dancing performances and Chinese folk dancing takes place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and kids can participate in a Chinese zodiac scavenger hunt to learn fun facts. Free Zoo admission for guests born in the Year of the Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007 and 2019).
