Thrive City will host a Lunar New Year celebration at 5 p.m. prior to the Golden State Warriors taking on the Los Angeles Clippers at 7 p.m. for the Lunar New Year game. Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at Thrive City with music from DJ Marcus Lee, a lion dance performance from Lion Dance Me, lantern decorations, and arts & crafts stations. Make sure to snap a photo with the Heavenly Jade Dragon, one of five large dragon statues designed and painted by local artists that are displayed throughout the city for Lunar New Year.
Later that evening, the Warriors will continue to celebrate Lunar New Year as the team takes on the Los Angeles Clippers at 7 p.m. at Chase Center. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Lunar New Year Bucket Hat courtesy of Cache Creek Casino Resort. During the game, fans can enjoy performances by Pei Pei, US Chinese Dance Association and more. Tickets for the game are still available at warriors.com
