Please join The Intuitive Writing Project as we bring the traveling film festival LUNAFEST to Orinda Theater for the first time! LUNAFEST is 9 short films by, for and about women. LUNAFEST will travel to over 180 cities and screen in front of 25,000 people this year.
Proceeds will benefit The Intuitive Writing Project, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting the self-esteem, emotional intelligence and personal leadership of teenage girls through transformative writing and leadership programs.
Last year we were thrilled to expand our classes to Girls Inc. of Alameda County where we helped high school seniors voice personal character in college essays. And we welcomed Youth Homes and their foster teens in Pleasant Hill to our program.
The purpose of our LUNAFEST event is to highlight women storytellers as evidence of what’s possible when girls find their voices.

Choose from two ticket options. All tickets must be purchased in advance—no tickets sold at the door.
