“Love, Global Peace”
Ancient Chinese melodies meet the Western classic music scale. Talented musicians come together to create new dimensions in traditional and contemporary music. Regardless of the distinctive nationalities we possess, different languages we speak, or various locations where we live, we have the same love of music, and a shared desire for love and peace around the world.
“Love, Global Peace” will provide a spellbinding juxtaposition of past, present, and future, conveying love and hope to every corner of the human heart through wonderful musical realms.

There will be 2 parts, with a benefit sale of Chinese books, arts, and crafts to follow. All proceeds will be donated to “Alliance of Smiles”, an organization which helps to provide free comprehensive treatment for children with cleft lip and palate abnormalities all over the world.
Program:
Part 1: Back to the past.
Piano and harp duo with poem recitation, presented by Chinese pianist Pan Fangfang, Chairman of Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association, and American harpist Anna Maria Mendieta, Principal harpist of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera.
Part 2: Looking forward to the future.
Piano performance presented by four young pianists from Canada, and Lei Bowen, a talented young pianist and winner of First Prize, Youth Group, at the 5th International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest.
