Two crews from the Bay Area underground team up to bring a night of Jungle, UK Garage, and frenetic club sounds to Monarch.
LOTEK is helmed by the Bay's own Soeneido, who has been crucial in shaping this generation's iteration of the U.S. jungle scene. With tracks on wax through breakthrough labels like Future Retro, RUFF N' TUFF, Heavy Sounds, and No Bias, expect a high-energy set by Soeneido filled with unreleased tracks and rare grooves.
MF Mama, jungle darling known for her genre-bending take on breaks, is known for her expertly curated sets that have gained her a loyal following on streaming platforms like Twitch. Representing two notorious Jungle crews, Rhythmic Remedies and Yeska Beatz, she is a frequent guest at SF's beloved party series Stamina, as well as the long-standing Shelter Drum & Bass parties.
JMO Corleone, known for his project Grim Corporation,is a hip-hop and electronica record producer, engineer, and dj. Aside from producing sounds for beloved underground rap artists, he has a deep love for high-energy club sets that will pair nicely with the break-heavy offerings.
CREWDEM, nascent crew just hot off the heels of several underground parties that hosted nationally beloved garage artists like Clearcast, SHAKING, Liot, and shekdash, will be in full attendance.
