Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is hosting a 50th birthday celebration of its female Asian elephant Liz as part of a three-day weekend event Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1.
Highlights include the Conservation Station, to learn about elephants and how the public can help and special demonstration shows. On Friday, May 30 at 11:30 a.m., Liz will be presented with a giant birthday cake, and on Saturday and Sunday, the birthday presentation will take place at 1 p.m.
