Live Standup at The Alamo Drafthouse

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Come check out one San Francisco's longest running and most popular stand up comedy showcases, at the Alamo Drafthouse! The Mission Position is a popular independent comedy showcase, hosted by two of San Francisco’s most accomplished comedians — Adrian McNair and Irene Tu (featured in Viceland's Flophouse, SF Sketchfest, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival). Every month, we'll be bringing a dynamite lineup to Alamo Drafthouse’s intimate theater, for a show that provides club-level talent without irritating drink minimums or filler comics. The Mission Position welcomes a new lineup of special guests every month that include the Bay’s brightest comics alongside nationally touring headliners from NBC, TBS, E! and Comedy Central. Doors at 7:30, show starts at 8:00!

November we'll be headlining Comedy Central's: Ramon Rivas II

In 2016, Ramon recorded his television debut, an episode on the newest season of THE HALF HOUR with COMEDY CENTRAL. Ramon was one of 17 artists selected from around the country, an outlier from the middle of the country with no manager or agent. Since taping, Ramon has joined the management team at Brillstein Entertainment and appeared on @midnight (winning July 21), MTV Decoded, VICELAND & more.

In addition to performing, Ramon has been featured on numerous podcasts like YKWD with Robert Kelly & tour video, PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER with Cameron Esposito, The K-Ohle Podcast with Kurt Braunohler, Doug Benson's DOUG LOVES MOVIES, Sklarboro Bros Country and more. Ramon's positive vibes and chill comedic momentum earned him a coveted spot as a performer in San Francisco SketchFest (2014) in the inaugural Chicago Comedy Exposition (2014). In 2015, Ramon was invited to take part in the inaugural NBCUniversal & Second City Breakout Comedy Fest and selected by Comedy Central as one of 2015's Comics to Watch for the New York Comedy Festival.
