Live Q+A with Jimmie Fails and Screening of "The Last Black Man in San Francisco"

SEE EVENT DETAILS
What better way to experience this ode to San Francisco than to watch it from inside of a San Francisco landmark? Don't miss this special screening of the award-winning movie every Bay Area resident needs to see. Co-writer and lead-star, Jimmie Fails will be onsite to introduce the film and answer questions from the audience during an exclusive Q+A after the show.

This program is part of our Free Saturdays celebration of the exhibition, Soul of a Nation.

About the Movie
The Last Black Man in San Francisco is based on Jimmie's life and the gentrification of San Francisco. A wistful odyssey populated by skaters, squatters, street preachers, playwrights, and other locals on the margins, the film is a poignant and sweeping story of hometowns and how they're made--and kept alive--by the people who love them.
