Performer bios.
Abe Becker was recently published in Fifth Wednesday Journal, Drunk In A Midnight Choir, Cogitate, After Happy Hour Review, and other publications. He is the 2018 Berkeley Grand Slam Champion, a Grand Slam Champion of Cal Slam (at UC Berkeley), a CUPSI finalist as both poet and coach, the Poet Laureate of Awkward (according to someone who should know), and winner of Group Piece Finals at the National Poetry Slam. He has led writing workshops in homeless shelters and colleges and works as a caregiver for quadriplegic people in Oakland, CA.

Deamer was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Switzerland and the Washington D.C. area before settling in Monterey County California in the early 1980s. He currently resides in the birth city of John Steinbeck, Salinas California, the former home of his dinner only restaurant, Pajaro Street Grill. Deamer now spends much of his time in Tijuana, Mexico and traveling the world with his recurring character, Omar T Black. “I have a list of some thirty more locations where I hope to write Omar adventures– come join the journey!” https://www.amazon.com/author/deamerdunn. YouTube Author/Artist Page (music videos of art & book sketches): https://www.youtube.com/user/deamerdunn

Kate Folk's writing has appeared most recently in the New York Times Magazine, Tupelo Quarterly, Prairie Schooner, and One Story, and is forthcoming in Zyzzyva. She has received support for her writing from the MacDowell Colony and the Vermont Studio Center, and is a current Affiliate Artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Originally from Iowa, she now lives in San Francisco and is working on a novel.

Trebor Healey is the recipient of a Lambda Literary award, two Publishing Triangle awards, and a Violet Quill award. He is the author of three novels, a book of poetry, and three collections of stories. He co-edited the anthologies Beyond Definition and Queer & Catholic. https://www.treborhealey.com.

Rob Jamner is an indie rock songwriter and poet. His music sounds like what would happen if Jeff Buckley and Simon & Garfunkel went to see The Shins perform, and it inspired them to make an album together. He sings his stories in a clear, high voice, dancing on distorted jazz chords and gliding over earnest ballads. In his lyrics, he explores the depth of his hopes and anxieties, always emerging with a glimmer of optimism. He released his first EP, Lost in the Clouds, in 2015, and he is working on new material to release in 2018.

James J. Siegel is the author of the poetry collection "How Ghosts Travel" from Spuyten Duyvil Press, which was a finalist for the Ohioana Library Book Award. He lives in San Francisco where he hosts and curates a monthly show called Literary Speakeasy, which showcases Bay Area authors, poets, and songwriters. His work has appeared in several journals including The Cortland Review, Assaracus, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, The Good Men Project, and more.
