In 2015, we gathered over a novel idea: throw a fancy "fundraiser" to raise awareness instead of money. We listened to powerful stories and promised to advocate for these issues by standing up to hate, ignorance, and misinformation. Join us the 4th Thursday of each month as we listen to three new stories on issues most affected by the current administration. No PowerPoints. No scripts. Just storytelling on a mission.

Attire: This is a storytelling gala. The space will look nice so why shouldn't you? But wear comfortable shoes because it's mostly standing-room. (Accommodations upon request)Food: Open bar and hors d'oeuvres.Contributions: This is real grassroots, ya'll (read: self-funded). Please have cash, Venmo, or credit card to help offset cost of food, drinks, and venue. All funds in excess will be divided among three awesome organizations to which each speaker is affiliated.
