Limited seating: Bubbles Seminar! The Wines of Recaredo

Everybody loves sparkling wines, most of all Champagne. For years, people only stepped out of the Champagne box to avoid spending Champagne prices. But we have a producer for you that offers an even better excuse: deliciousness and distinctiveness. Recaredo from Penedes has been at the frontier of high quality Spanish sparkling wines since the 1920's.  They grow mostly just indigenous varieties; they aren't trying to imitate Champagne, but to rival it. They work organically and without dosage.  All of their wines are vintage and they riddle the bottles and disgorge them by hand. This will be a sit-down, seminar-style tasting guided by owner/winemaker Ton Mata of Recaredo, who we are honored to have all the way from Spain! This seminar will be held in our SF downstairs tasting room next Saturday March 9th from 3:30pm-5:00pm.  Here is the lineup for what we are tasting:
