Ligne Roset was founded in 1860 by M. Antoine Roset. Ligne Roset is now owned by the fourth generation of the Roset family, brothers Pierre and Michel Roset. Antoine Roset established a business in Montagnieu, France making bent wood walking sticks and umbrellas. By the mid 1950s, Ligne Roset had developed a modern furniture design concept, which is still realized today. Ligne Roset's products are manufactured in Briord, a small town in the French Rhine valley and distributed in over 900 stores worldwide.
